Dolly’s Dream
Explainer Video
Dolly’s Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide, after ongoing bullying. Dolly’s Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.
As the use of technology is a problem in the bullying space in Australia, we were tasked with creating an animation which would help parents to navigate this space with their children.
We really enjoyed working on this piece as it was evident how it can really help families navigate a complex space. Adding in some 3D and cool transitions enhanced our 2D character animation for a very special cause.
“This is so beautifully and simply designed. During those early chats, I really feel like you understood that we wanted something to guide a conversation and not get in the way. I feel we have given it the best chance – and the outputs from the plan are great and the video is spot on. I recognise that this is a top notch job. I’m stoked and appreciate the efforts.”
